'Tis the season of eggnog. And while i am still not sure how i feel about eggnog as a drink, eggnog is definitely packed with all the right flavours and is perfect in baked goods.

For this cake, we swap water for eggnog and use melted butter instead of oil. And because eggnog itself is on the sweet side, this recipe calls for salted butter. The result is a cake that is light, moist, buttery and just perfect. The perfect accompaniment to coffee or tea on a cold morning.
